SERVICE

One of the most important outcomes of International School Carinthia’s academic program is for students to take action on their learning.  Service-learning allows students the opportunity to identify a problem that is meaningful to them and be part of the solution.  At ISC, students will be required to complete service work each year as part of their academic program and as part of the extracurricular programs.  Some aspects of this service will be performed at school, while other aspects of service will be carried out in the local and global community depending on the program and the students’ interests.  Students will be required to reflect regularly on their service work and chart their growth as they progress through our program.  Like other aspects of our academic and extracurricular program, service programs will be driven by our students’ interests. These experiences will allow students to really be the positive change they wish to see in the world.
