**Mission Statement from the IB
The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.

Visit from Bundesministerin Dr. Margarete Schramböck
ISC was pleasantly surprised on Monday, 30th April with a visit from the Minister of Digital and Economic Affairs. Dr. Schramböck toured ISC and took the opportunity to learn from students how they use digital tools to enhance their learning. The students also had many questions for her about how she uses her role to advance digitalization in Austria. Later that evening, she expressed how impressed she was with her visit to ISC during her presentation at the IV Impulsvortrag event at Lakeside Park.
