Megan Higgins (Language Coordinator)

I grew up in a small town just outside of Dayton, Ohio. When I had the opportunity to study abroad in Salzburg in 2007, it sparked my interest in travel and living abroad. After completing my B.A. in history at Ohio University, I came to Austria in 2009 to work as an English teaching assistant in two high schools in Villach. While working as an assistant teacher, I realized my passion for teaching and began studying English and history education at the University of Klagenfurt in 2011.  I hope to complete my degree in a few years and begin teaching in Austria.

When I am not at the university or working, I enjoy drawing both digitally and traditionally, skiing, running, traveling and baking.

I am excited to be a part of the ISC team and get to know some of the students in the Good Morning Program this school year.

Meeting Time: Thursdays 2:30 - 3.00 p.m. and By Appointment. Please e-mail Ms. Higgins directly.
