Anne Béal (Admin. Assistant / Admissions Officer) (On maternity leave)

I was born in France in Saint Etienne, where I grew up and spent my whole childhood. After graduating in Optics in 2001, I spent about six years working as an optician and contactology manager in France.

In 2006, my husband and myself took the chance to move to Austria. It was a new challenge to learn German from the very beginning and worked at the same time in my own speciality. Four years in Villach was enough to fall in love with this country and definitively with the Austrian culture and kindness.

After this european experience, from 2010 to 2014, we got the opportunity to move to Singapore. We jumped on this occasion to learn more about Asia! During this four years abroad, we extended our family by welcoming our little daughter Juliette, now three and half years old.

In 2013, I worked full time in the German European School of Singapore (GESS) as After School Activities Manager. This new experience in an international environment enriched me a lot and convinced me to continue in this direction.

Consequently, I am really looking forward to joining ISC team as the Administrative Assistant and to contribute to the school’s organisation and development! During my free time, I enjoy spending time with our daughter, explore variety of cuisine, read books, have a swim in the wonderful lakes (especially the Faaker See!) and process my own pictures in a dark room.
